Chromebook / iPad / Hotspot Insurance
Kenowa Hills Public Schools has made arrangements for an optional technology insurance plan to be available for purchase for each device issued to a student. The $20 annual fee per device insurance plan will cover accidental damage to the Chromebook, iPad, or Hotspot as well as theft. This insurance plan does not cover for loss of the device and/or its accessories, cosmetic damage, or damages caused by misuse and/or abuse.
At this point, we are only offering this coverage to our Grade 6-12 students. We may roll it out to elementary school students if we have an extended remote learning situation.
Insurance Plan enrollment deadline is Friday, September 18, 2020. For students newly enrolling in the district, insurance must be purchased within two weeks of enrolling.
To learn more about the insurance plan, visit our Technology Insurance Enrollment page.
